Incentives and Community Led Total Sanitation: An Experimental Evaluation of Direct Effects and Spillovers on Sanitation and Health
This research (RCT) aims to analyze whether combining OBA with CLTS and SanMark leads to faster and higher achievement of ODF villages and better reaches poor households than CLTS and SanMark alone, i.e. conduct impact evaluation on combining OBA with CLTS. The objectives of the research are to determine which which types of financial incentives increase latrine coverage in rural Laos and determine whether the intervention reduced child stunting (defined as having a height-for-age z-score two standard deviations below the World Health Organization standard).
